| What a noisy introduction to a group. A bit of 'Punk' with a lean towards 'fucked-up' Im not too clear on the release dates of the versions available, they say they first recorded as Boredoms in 1986, which could be the date on the WEA Japan release. The US version from reprise says 1994 and the UK version claimed to be released in 1988 by Earthnoise except printed on the inside of the cover, written next to one of the tracks is 'Rec-1999-7-15 at skin'. So I'm not exactly sure when for each country. It has also been re-issued by Very Friendly Records in 2004 with the original track listing. Sleeve notes: ---- (poppy) - talk, assmouth, byclesynth / ----(poppu) - eggmafin bass, sax, meat, trumpet / ----(pooly) - sdi, cello, sugar, synth, wood / ----(poosuu) - kick & hit & shot, car, violin / Hum (poogie) - penis, tennis & punk / ----(poomie) - drunk & eat & sleep Boredoms management: Inner Directs, 5-15-9-301, Minami - Aoyama, Minato-ku, Tokyo, 107, Japan |
